Encompassing ten years, thousands of hours, and over twenty terabytes of footage, welcome to my 2017 showreel. The first iteration of this project began in 2012 and was over six minutes long. But following several more tours and a few narrative short films since, this is my ultimate demo reel. We had a blast on this North American run and Los Angeles was the perfect place to cap it off with a massive show at the Hollywood Palladium. We look back on the tour and look ahead to Europe this Summer and Fall! A huge thanks to all the fans that showed up to every show this tour; we can't wait to come back and do it all again!

Colorado is so awesome we couldn't just spend one night here so we headed up to by far, the most beautiful venue in the United States; Red Rocks Amphitheater. From the moment Body Count hit the stage all the way to the end of Avenged Sevenfold's set, the crowd was crazy.

A lateral Hyperlapse of Downtown Denver, between Speer and 23rd Ave. Shot on a Sony A7R III, Sony 85mm f1.8, DJI Ronin S, and a Manfrotto tripod with tripod dolly wheels. This was my fourth attempt, my first three yielding unstable and unusable results. By using the gimbal, I was able to nearly completely stabilize the roll axis. I kept my auto focus point on a part of the Optiv Building in which I further stabilized by plotting manual motion track points in post production. Using LRTimelapse, I evened out the exposure and used Lightroom for the majority of the photo adjustments. The first shot is the original 8K framing, cropped in to fit the 1.78:1 aspect ratio, the second shot is 1:1 pixel crop at 4K. I'm very excited that I have found a formula for this type of timelapse and want to continue to do more in the future.
