They didn’t know what they were in for…
I had actually been much more involved in video production before I took up still photography as a serious hobby. My first serious camera was a Nikon D90 which I received for my birthday in 2008. I used it heavily not only as a hobby, but professionally for four concert tours between 2010 and 2014. I upgraded to a Nikon D5300 which I used for both photos and video in 2014, followed by a Nikon DF from 2015 to 2018, and now presently using a Sony A7R III for all my photo and video needs. Every so often I will bring my Sony RX100 IV with me if I don’t feel like lugging around a heavy mirrorless/DSLR.
